Robert Morris College has discovered a dynamic, sustainable and diverse foundation in its primary campus situated in Chicago's Loop, now termed the metropolitan education corridor. Bachelor of Professional Studies: Architectural Technology

This educational track permits you to develop a crucial connection from design concepts to actual construction. Architectural Technologists utilize a mixture of professional and communication skills, design talent, and familiarity with computer applications and data.

Requirements for Admission:

  • Students who wish to enroll in the Bachelor of Professional Studies in Architectural Technology program must have already completed an Associate Degree in any of the following:
  • CAD
  • Interior Design
  • Construction/Facilities Management
  • Drafting o Electronics
  • Manufacturing (That degree must be from a regionally-accredited college or university)
  • A GPA of 2.0 or better

Students completing the BPS in Architectural Technology are not qualified to take the NCARB (National Council of Architectural Registration Board) examination.

Once pupils attain their degree they are qualified for an array of work opportunities in the building trade, property management, along with entry-level positions in the fields of architecture, building and special planning.

Associate in Applied Science Degree CAD/Drafting

Acquire instruction in a sound basis of the principles and proficiencies of CAD and design as well as manual drafting, blueprints, and constructing models. CAD is utilized as graphic communication in each specialty that must transmit visual or spatial data in areas like architecture, engineering and building.
