Associate: Fashion Design

The Fashion Design program helps to develop important design industry characteristics including: a strong foundation of design, illustration, computer and presentation skills. Students gain hands-on experience in pattern making, clothing construction, draping, specialty design, men's wear and children's wear. In addition, they learn how to create storyboards and visual presentations from illustration and computer techniques.

At the heart of this industry is retailing, which may be considered the most challenging area of the fashion business.
