ART AND DESIGN
Associate: Fashion Design
The Fashion Design program helps to develop important design industry characteristics including: a strong foundation of design, illustration, computer and presentation skills. Students gain hands-on experience in pattern making, clothing construction, draping, specialty design, men's wear and children's wear. In addition, they learn how to create storyboards and visual presentations from illustration and computer techniques.
Associate: Fashion Merchandising
The fashion merchandising industry is fast paced, ever-changing, and consumer-driven. At the heart of this industry is retailing, which may be considered the most challenging area of the fashion business. Further, it is the merchandiser who is responsible for identifying the wants of the consumer, and for planning, buying and selling merchandise to ensure the profit and to contribute to the growth of the business.

This program is designed to give students a balanced and comprehensive course of instruction that provides an in-depth knowledge of the graphic design business, and encourages creativity while stressing technical and presentation skills.
Associate: Interior Design
This program introduces the student to the creative and technical processes used in professional practice. Students learn to speak the language of design, and to effectively communicate with clients and vendors by utilizing industry-recognized visual communication tools, strategic planning, and creative problem-solving techniques.
