Green Revolution in Spain

Treehugger has a great article about the current protests in Spain. The Indignados (Outraged) have been camping out for about two weeks in Madrid's main plaza, Puerta del Sol. The protests have steadily grown in number and are spread throughout various cities within the Iberian peninsula.

Whether in support of these protests or not, you have to give some respect to these protestors for their strong focus on reducing their carbon footprint. Thousands of protestors have managed to organize systems of recycling, solar power resources, and even urban vegetable gardens.  These programs are set up and ran by various "environmental committees" within each camp.
