We have expanded our curriculum and now offer 6 skill sets. The entire program will be in full swing in the spring of 2008, when we will be training students for work in visual effects, feature animation, and video game industries. Below are renderings of a character modeled, rigged and textured in Maya by Brent Gordon, a recent student. Brent has been a character designer in the traditional animation industry for quite some time, and learned Maya here at our program. Our Programs and Courses As of Spring 2008 we will be offering a total of six skill sets in the following areas: * Motion Graphic Design (2d digital animation) * 3d Digital Modeling * 3d Texturing * 3d Character Setup * 3d Character Animation * Digital Sculpture Industry professionals will be teaching classes in all areas. Yes, the cost of a single semester long course is $60.00!! All skill sets are intended to be taken over a 4 semesters (for most students two years) and are aimed ad providing students with entry level artist skills. The school has built a new building to house its digital art programs. The images above are snapshots of one of our three new classrooms, with 24 brand new 2.66 Ghz dual-Xeon Mac Pro workstations. All workstations have the latest versions of industry standard software installed. There is also a 30- station computer lab dedicated entirely for student projects, accessible all day long.
