Animators help us see the world with fresh eyes, create technological marvels, and can tell a story with every beautiful, touching or hilarious movement. Students enrolled in CCS' Animation and Digital Media program encounter the same storytelling and character-creation challenges as professionals at Pixar, Blue Sky Studios and EA Sports. The faculty work to inspire students and continuously challenge them in new ways. Animation got its start with silent films and progressed through Mickey Mouse, Bugs Bunny and Strongbad. Studios large and small around the world are producing astonishingly imaginative animated work. Now evolving into the digital universe, animation technology is used to produce such films as Pixar's The Incredibles, and Blue Sky Studios' Robots, in addition to such video games as EA Sports' NBA Street and Maxis Studio's The Sims series.
