Orange Coast College
Due to the fact that Orange Coast College provides their students with state of the art facilities, all of which are equipped with the most modern computers and technological equipments, they are one of the United States' largest and most acclaimed public nautical programs, which is only one of the more than 130 academic and career programs offered. Almost half the students on the campus are enrolled in one of the career and technical programs at OCC. The college is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
OCC makes available to the students the following five certificates within the fashion department:
- Design
- Production/Product Development
- Apparel Construction
- Fashion Merchandising
- Costume
Students who complete any of the above-mentioned fashion certificate programs are prepared for a career in the fashion industry or other related fields. Completion also allows the student to pursue degrees at a four-year college.
ASSOCIATE DEGREES:
It is recommended that students finish an Associate degree to further advance their studies. Students are encouraged to complete the Fashion Certificates of Achievement and then choose to complete one of the following:
- Associates in Arts
- Associates in Science degrees
