The Fashion Design program prepares students with the necessary skills to obtain positions in the design, apparel manufacturing, tailoring, pattern making, custom dressmaking, and related fields. Students can choose to earn a:
- Fashion Design
- Advanced Fashion Design
- Apparel Manufacturing certificate.
Both the Advanced Fashion Design and Apparel Manufacturing certificates provide the Fashion design student the opportunity to enter the field of apparel manufacturing. Our program explores the fashion industry completely, incorporating the many career options available beyond design. It addresses the pattern and clothing manufacturing. Graduates of the Fashion Design program and the advanced programs will be able to design clothing and participate in the manufacturing process.
Professionally training individuals is the goal of the Fashion Merchandising program. The emphasis of this program is to fully develop each student's creativity and fashion sense. There are two certificates that you can earn from the Fashion Merchandising program, and these are:
- Fashion Merchandising
- Visual Fashion Merchandising
The Visual Fashion Merchandising program covers interior and exterior displays while emphasizing presentation of products, and lighting along with window design.
