Eastern Michigan University
Tremendous changes have taken place within the textile industry over the past few years Such changes include the development of new technologies and business practices, offshore manufacturing, changes in consumer expectations and the globalization of businesses.
Eastern Michigan University Students will be granted access to a broad spectrum of facilities; including textile laboratories, apparel studios with computer-guided systems, a high-tech computerized cutter, a textile studio, and an extensive costume collection.
Students enrolled in our ATM program will be able to supplement their math and science instruction with business, finance, and language courses, to ensure a well-rounded academic development.
Graduate students may elect to enroll in our advanced courses. Evaluations of the courses are constant, keeping students current with the industries' advances.
