Fashion Merchandising Associate in Applied Arts and Sciences
Prepare for an exciting career in the ever-changing world of fashion through the Fashion Merchandising program. The rapidly evolving world of fashion depends on individual tastes and desires. Those who enjoy working with people and setting new courses, and who possess talent, energy and enthusiasm can excel in the fashion world.
The GRCC program allows students the opportunity to study both the historical perspectives of fashion and the future trends that will shape tomorrow's fashion world. Integral in the program are color, fabrics, design, and garment construction. With selling as the focus, you'll evaluate merchandising as a process. As a guide, these recommendations are given. Providing that all requirements - including prerequisites - are satisfied, students can take courses in the order in which they choose. The number of students in a classroom is limited to provide one-on-one learning environments.
