Today, Fashion and Textile industries are largely dependent on CAD in terms of the design and manufacture of the product and in the merchandising and marketing of that product. Familiarity and experience with CAD is necessary to be well prepared for work in the fashion and textile industries. New doors to the corporate world will open for Lindenwood fashion design students because of this. Students will learn to create patterns with Modaris, a software program for computer-aided design. We are proud to say that Lindenwood is the only University in the state currently implementing this top-of the line CAD program into their curriculum. Lindenwood is privileged to be using this CAD software approved by the industry. Fashion design students are very fortunate to have the chance to experience the latest in CAD programs.
