The University of Akron offers programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels in the School of Family and Consumer Sciences. There are three different tracks available for students pursuing a BA in Fashion Merchandising: fiber arts, apparel, or home furnishings. Each of these tracks enables the student to begin his or her career with confidence that they have the knowledge base necessary for success. The program focuses on practical aspects, as well as the integrative role that this field of study plays in the healthy and successful lives of every person.
Students can study the academic aspects of this field, specifically from a cultural and/or historical perspective, with the help of the Master of Arts Degree Program, with an option in Clothing, Textiles, and Interiors.
Fashion Merchandising - Undergraduate Program Curriculum:
The students are completely prepared for pursuing careers in fashion and furnishing industries with the help of The University of Akron's Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Merchandising degree program.
