The Fashion Design program provides students with a strong foundation in design and business by including art and design foundation courses, along with studies in retail management and business.

Admission Prerequisites:

  • Completed Application form
  • Minimum combined SAT score of 750
  • Minimum GPA of 2.0
  • $25 Application fee
  • Official high school transcripts
  • SAT scores
  • TOEFL score (for international applicants)
  • Official college transcripts (if applicable)
  • Written Essay Letter of Recommendation
  • Interviews (strongly recommended)

Fashion merchandising is a factor of the dynamic and exciting fashion industry, playing a vital role in retailing. The main focus of the merchandiser is ensuring that the needs, and wants of the consumer are met. As a part of the fashion merchandising program students complete the Business core classes as well as courses in fashion trends, design, fabrics, and garment construction, which combine to provide them with a strong foundation in both business and merchandising.
