O'More College of Design
A student interested in the field of design should consider the O'More Fashion Design & Merchandising BFA program. The latest trends with the most up-to-date technology are taught by our faculty of working professionals with the use of our state of the art facilities. Made accessible to our students are facilities fully equipped with a commercial sewing studio, a state-of-the-art Gerber AccuMark CAD lab, and an 8:1 student-instructor ratio. Included are internships with many of the world's greatest designers. A New York-style fashion show of student-produced garments on professional models is annual.
A focused education and an opportunity to transform your artistic ability and ambition into a career in fashion design adds up to the creation of a professional. Students will work closely with fashion faculty members at O'More, who are professionals in the fields of design and/or merchandising. Employers are looking for people who are highly trained and ready to begin working. One must express creativity to be successful in the field.
Be there with O'More education. The training can be intensive, but it also is a lot of fun. Students have the opportunity to meet with industry leaders like Donna Karan, Tommy Hilfinger, and Amsale Bridaland and also have the opportunity to take field trips to the key design markets, like New York City's Garment District. Interns have been placed with Vera Wang and Esquire magazine, among other high profiled design companies. O'More graduates are fashion industry leaders, both locally and across the world.
