In addition to completing the core requirements, a student can select from one of five specialization areas or, by completing 25 advisor-approved elective credits, pursue a course of study personalized to his or her individual career goals.
Certificate and Degree Options Available:
Students will develop basic business skills with a focus in Fashion Merchandising from the Business Administration Program that offers concentrations in AAAS-Fashion Merchandising AAAS Degree and the Fashion Merchandising Program. Economics, accounting computers, marketing, management, and general education outcomes are the focus of the curriculum.
Students also complete directed Fashion Merchandising courses to improve their abilities in areas such as display and effective visual merchandising, retail buying and management, and merchandising and planning. Day students can obtain this technical/professional degree on a part-time or full-time basis.
Graduates holding skills in fashion merchandising and business administration may obtain employment in the business retail sector. General business setting graduates may also be able to apply their knowledge.
