Rensselear Polytechnic Institute
The Department of the Arts at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute is committed to the pursuit of creative research and interdisciplinary study in the area of electronic arts. The program, founded in 1972, is supported by a renowned faculty and the resources of a technological university.
Known as iEAR (Integrated Electronic Arts at Rensselaer), the program offers high-tech studios where students, faculty, and visiting artists can pursue both collaborative and individual projects.
The program also sponsors iEAR Presents!, a series of exhibitions, lectures, and performances that present the work of ground-breaking and up-and-coming artists in the field of electronic art.
