The Graphic Design program at Northern Kentucky University prepares students to visually communicate ideas through design. In order to graduate, students must progress through four stages.
The initial stage includes university and department required core courses.
The secondary stage involves introductory design courses including design theory and typography.
The third state includes intermediate graphic design courses focusing on improving technique and expanding creative vision.
The final stage includes advanced graphics courses and a variety of design projects that will comprise the student's graduating portfolio.
