Plymouth State College
Both the BA and BFA in Graphic Design at Plymouth State University offer comprehensive programs designed to graduate professionals equipped to enter the fast-growing graphic design field. There is also a minor option available.
With a grounding in visual arts and art history, the graphic design programs teach students both conceptual thought processes and practical design techniques. Students gain hands-on experience in traditional graphic design skills and the latest digital methods. Course work is supported with access to the college's high tech art studio which is outfitted with Macintosh work stations.
Students in both degree programs develop professional portfolios during their course of study. In addition, BFA students must participate in the annual BFA exhibition.
Graduating graphic designers from Plymouth State College find work in design studios, advertising agencies, digital multimedia facilities, corporate design departments, and print shops.
