At the Digital Graphic Art Associate of Applied Art of Fort Worth, graphic designers, or graphic artists, plan, analyze, and create visual solutions to communications challenges. The layout and production design of magazines, news media, journals, business reports, and other publications are all the work of graphic designers.
Designers also create promotional displays, packaging, and marketing brochures for products and services. Interactive media, multimedia, and websites are among the things developed by some graphic designers. Designers who create Web graphics and interactive media use basic computer animation and programming software.
Graphic/typographic design, digital design and imaging, digital pre-press operations, website design production, and the business aspects of advertising and marketing are all areas covered by the Digital Graphic Arts program. Our computer labs let you gain hands-on experience with many of the commonly used design programs in the industry. We teach applications like as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, Macromedia Freehand, and Macromedia Dreamweaver, as well as Adobe Illustrator and HTML and XHTML programming.
The Digital Graphic Arts P course is designed to prepare students for entry-level positions in computer graphics, digital imaging, desktop publishing, production art, and website creation. Advertising agencies, design firms, newspapers and magazines, printing companies, corporate art departments, website designers and providers, and a number of other enterprises in which there is a demand for computer expertise combined with a flair for creative design are all potential sources of employment.
