Phoenix College
The Phoenix College Interior Design Program has earned national attention, evidenced by its selection by the Wrigley Mansion Club for a prominent restoration project. Courses are practical and emphasize a hands-on approach to interior design. Upon successful completion of the program, students find success in a variety of entry-level design positions, such as interior designer, space planner, manufacturer's rep, model home designer, kitchen and bath designer, or visual merchandiser. Some students go on to run their own design firms. Interior Design is a time-intensive yet fulfilling major designed based on studio classes and developing design presentations. Students who devote themselves fully to these projects will produce quality portfolios which later will help them show off their skills and abilities to future employers. Both part-time and full-time options are available.
