Interior Designers Institute
Interior Designers Institute emphasizes personalized attention and academic excellence. It offers an ample offering of interior design courses and focuses on providing students with the foundation and skills necessary to get started on a dynamic career. IDI students have gone on to win international design competitions and pursue successful design careers in Residential Interior Design; Commercial Design; Set Design; Model Home Design; Transportation Design; Historical Restoration; Retail Store Design; Architectural Drafting; Furniture, Textile and Wall covering Design; Interior Illustration; Space Planner; and Lighting Consultant. IDI offers three programs: the certificate program, the Associate of Arts degree; and the Bachelor of Arts degree. The certificate program focuses on residential design, with a foray into the design of model homes, and is geared towards the novice student whose goal is to design his or her own home. The Associate's and Bacherlor's degrees have the career-oriented student in mind.
