Maric College-Sacramento Campus
The Associate of Applied Arts Degree at Maric College prepares creative and outgoing students for a challenging new career by providing the training and opportunity to design interior spaces. Students study the fundamentals of space planning, design development and installation. They also learn about color, lighting, architectural details, furnishings, finishes and other aspects of interior design. An important feature of the program is instruction in computer-aided design software to expand students' technical skills. Students have the opportunity to participates in an externship that will jumpstart their careers. Students who have graduated with the Associate's Degree from Maric College have gone on to positions such as space planner, interior decorator, display designer, commercial design, kitchen and bath designer and CAD assistant.
