Westwood College-Inland Empire
Westwood College's challenging career-centered Interior Design degree program provides students with technological skills pertinent to the residential and commercial industry and the opportunity to collaborate with faculty members who are also highly-trained working professionals. In just three years, Westwood students gain skills in color theory, graphic drawing, construction technology, space planning and interior finishing and then go on to use these skills in successful interior design careers. The fundamentals are stressed: drawing, drafting, basic design principle and color, as well as space planning, the human factor, the construction and detailing of interiors, building codes and CAD. Additionally, students are exposed to historical perspectives, practical business practices, methods for collaboration and professional ethics.
