Colorado State University

The objective of Colorado State University's interior design program is to offer a high-quality undergraduate program that relies on the diverse experience and research of its faculty. Students become creative problem solvers, clear communicators and dedicated team players, and learn how to adapt to and incorporate changes in a dynamic industry. They develop skills that help them transform interiors that will improve quality of life, increase productivity and protect the welfare, health and safety of those who work and live in them. The program goals are four-fold: to make positive changes in health, welfare and quality of life for those in home, work and leisure environments through research-based problem-solving; to develop environments that assimilate historical perspectives and values of diverse populations; to design sustainable communities in the Rockies using appropriate resources and technologies; and to focus on interior design excellence through the incorporation of technology.
