The Bachelor of Arts Degree in Interior Design offered at Michigan State University provides students with educational experiences which allow them to resolve design questions with creativity and ingenuity. Students in Michigan State University's design program approach design on a global level, taking into account not only the interior space, but its relationship to the person and the environment. For this reason, particular importance is placed on developing skills which allow students to design interesting, aesthetic, efficient, and functional interior environments. Students can also participate in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) certificate program. CAD is a tool which not only enables students to quickly execute design drawings, but also prepares them for the technology they will encounter many interior design sectors.
