Park University
At Park University, students in the Interior Design Bachelor of Arts program study an integrated liberal arts and interior design curriculum in order to develop creatively, artistically, and intellectually. Interior design courses are offered sequentially and these classes, combined with graphic communication and design studio courses and lectures by professionals in the design community and professors, provide students with fundamental knowledge of the industry. Student portfolios are also an integral part of the Interior Design program; graduating seniors must compile a portfolio of their best work during their Senior Seminar. The curriculum at Park University, in conjunction with work and internship experience, qualify students to take the examination offered by the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) which is necessary to become a certified interior designer.
