Patricia Stevens College
Students at Patricia Stevens College's Interior Design Associate's Degree program begin by learning the fundamentals in design and drafting techniques, thus permitting creative men and women who lack prior training to train to become professionals in the industry. Patricia Steven College graduates have secured jobs in a variety of fields such as furniture manufacturers, lighting firms, art galleries, and, of course, commercial and residential design companies. The interior design program focuses on commercial and residential design and as such courses are offered in Kitchen and Bath Design, Residential and Advanced Residential Design, Furniture Making, Commercial Design, Workplace Design, and Materials of Interior Design. Patricia Stevens College also offers shorter diploma programs for those students who choose not to seek out an Associate's Degree. Courses for these diploma programs are available both days and evenings and include: Computer Aided Design, Color Theory, Furniture Marketing, Residential Design, Presentation Techniques, and History of Architecture and Design.
