Western Piedmont Community Collage
Western Piedmont Community College's Interior Design program trains students for myriad job opportunities in residential and non-residential interior design. The underpinning of the curriculum is solid aesthetic principles, technical knowledge, and ethical professional practices. Course work is comprised of residential and non-residential interior design, computer-aided design, architectural drafting, and universal design. Specific courses include Basic Design, Color Theory, Business Practices, History of Interiors and Furnishings, Products for Interior Design, Graphic Presentations, and General Education Courses. Graduates pursue jobs in residential and commercial interior design, showroom design, set design, and sales positions for textiles, furniture, and accessories, and all businesses that center on interiors.
