Davis College offers an Interior Design Associate Degree that trains students to plan and design interior spaces by integrating problem-solving abilities, technical skills, aesthetics, and communication skills. Students gain skills and know-how in the following areas: creating and drafting space and floor plans; incorporating finishes, window treatments and furniture in a rational manner; using appropriate technology, including computer-aided drafting software; analyzing a project in terms of design elements, client needs and project requirements; and applying the principles of good business practices.
