Drexel University offers an undergraduate interior design program with multi-faceted objectives, leading to a Bachelor of Science degree. Drexel students not only get the fundamental knowledge and skills to become top professional designers, but also have a thorough understanding of professionalism and integrity. As students are exposed to diverse viewpoints and design experiences, they will develop innovative problem solving skills which will guide them in making sound aesthetic judgments. Students will become personally and professional responsible, and will be aware of the social, cultural, environmental and ethical responsibilities of interior designers. They will execute designs that enhance the safety, health, and welfare of the occupants of these spaces. The undergraduate learning environment at Drexel is interdisciplinary, based on academics and studios, and makes the most of internship/employment opportunities and a devoted faculty. Drexel students are prepared for international career possibilities, and may choose to study abroad in London or in other cities. The 181-credit hour program has earned FIDER accreditation.
