Harcum College
Interior Design students at Harcum College take part in an engaging program that centers on solving problems creatively, building technical skills, and learning to communicate visually. The curriculum focuses on training a diverse group of qualified students to work for both private and public clients while being mindful of ethics and building codes. Individualized instruction in both classrooms and studios, and the use of various teaching methodologies ensure that students will have a solid foundation that opens doors to exciting careers. Harcum graduates go on to work as specialty designers in the following areas: residential design; commercial design; kitchen and bath design; facilities planning and design; retail design; as manufacturers' representatives; or in retail. After completing the associate's degree and with four years' experience, students may sit for the NCIDQ examination and receive their license.
