Marshall Community and Technical College
Marshall Community and Technical College and Cabell County Career Technology Center have come together in a joint effort to offer an Interior Design program that is associated with the American Society of Interior Design (ASID). This career-oriented program gives students the tools and hands-on training to become adepts interior designers qualified for entry-level positions. Course work centers on space planning, drafting, color theory, lighting, floral design, furniture, exterior design, and human factors that shape interior design. Students must apply to the Cabell County Career Technology Center. Students in this program can earn college credit while still in high school. The program is linked to West Virginia Tech Prep Fine Arts/Humanities cluster, Applied Arts major.
