University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point
With accreditation by the Council for Interior Design Accrediation (CIDA) and membership in the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD), the UW-Stevens Point interior architecture program is poised to offer a professionally-focused program that trains students to create high quality interior spaces that enhance occupant well-being. During the program, student portfolio are reviewed twice, and regional, national, and international field trips and critiques promote interaction with industry professionals. Students work on real-world problems and arrive at strategic, creative solutions. Students understand the constraints of working for a client, within a budget, and on a schedule. Upon graduating, students go into residential, retail, hospitality, and office design, as well as facility management.
