Waukesha County Technical College
Students in Waukesha County Technical College's Associate of Applied Science Interior Design program build design skills that will allow them to create functional, aesthetically pleasing and environmentally responsible commercial and residential interiors. In addition to gaining skills in design, drafting, and knowledge of colors and texture, students get a solid foundation in computer-assisted design, lighting, furnishings, textiles, and sales. The 70-credit degree leads to positions in and architectural design firms, interior design consulting firms, and industry-related sales departments. Students are encouraged to take part in the Interior Design Club to share ideas and goals with like-minded students.
