Although many people follow the "do-it-yourself" technique in home improvement, interior designers continue to remain highly demanded. Through 2014, job opportunities for those in the interior design field will grow at a rate comparable to the average rate of job growth for all occupations, says the Department of Labor projections. They believe that demand for designers will grow due to the economic expansion, increased homeowner wealth, and increased interest in interior design.

Necessary, Stimulating Coursework:

Faculty members that have hands-on experience in the industry teach relevant coursework to those involved in the BFA in Interior Design. Students are asked to develop a design concept for an interior space and transform this concept into a practical, functional, yet innovative and exciting environment that meets the needs of the client during this degree program.
