Chabot College

Chabot College’s Interior Design Program provides students with the opportunity of studying during the day or the evening. Classes focus on offering the formal training required for entry- and intermediate-level design positions in design firms, furnishing retailers and wholesale showrooms. Students must be creative and exhibit a strong color sense, a flair for detail and a familiarity with available resources. Math skills, sales techniques, an ability to work well with colleagues and an ability to see projects through to completion are other important attributes of successful designers.
