Howard University

At Howard University, the B.A. in interior design centers on how aesthetic, technical, social and cultural considerations relate to the function and quality of interior spaces. Students expand their abilities as they manage design concepts, analyze space and keep materials, construction and furnishings in mind when planning for commercial, residential and special use spaces. Students are trained for additional studies as well as being equipped with the knowledge and skills required by design management teams.
