Kent State University-kent Campus

The goal of Kent State University’s FIDER accredited Interior Design program is training future interior designers to understand, develop and improve physical environments and protect the health, safety and welfare of the occupants of those environments. The atmosphere encourages intellectual curious students to think critical and assume professional responsibilities. KSU interior design students take to heart the impact of design on global resources, societies and cultures, and work diligently to maintain an open atmosphere where a diversity of viewpoints is appreciated. The program is interdisciplinary in its approach, drawing on collaboration from Schools of Visual Communication & Design and Technology and the architecture program.
