Students learn to blend creativity with technology and business sense, and are encouraged to draw on their interpersonal skills, financial acumen, and problem-solving techniques. The departmental philosophy states that design should have an element of fun, and seeks to imbibe the learning atmosphere with enthusiasm and energy as students work towards functional, meaningful design solutions. The foundations for students are the underlying concepts of design, the materials used, and the necessary skills and technology. Graduates are fluent visual communicators, who confidently understand problems and present elegant solutions.
