Keiser University
Keiser University has campuses spread throughout the state of Florida as well as an online division. Keiser offers two associate's degrees in the field of design: video game design and web design and development. The video game design degree is highly technical in nature and teaches the student skills including but not limited to game design, character development, 3-D modeling and animation, interactive storytelling, and game documentation.

There are no prerequisites for major courses and the degree is completed after 88 credit hours of specific courses. Courses are 4 credit hours each and include Java programming I and II, C++ programming I and II, 3D modeling, 3D animation, Game Texture Mapping, Game Development, and more. There are also 24 credit hours of general education requirements that are part of the 88 credit hours. The video game design degree is a vocational degree and is not considered transferable.
The web design and development degree is 64 credit hours. Class curriculum is based on industry specific knowledge that students will need to know to be productive workers within the information technology industry. Web design and development graduates assume positions such as web developers, website designers and managers, database administrators, helpdesk technicians, programmers, Internet marketers, networking engineers, and more.
To help students finance their education Keiser students who are eligible can apply for and receive financial aid monies in the form of grants and loans. Merit and non-merit based Scholarships are also available. For students needing assistance with financial aid there are financial aid counselors who can answer students' questions.
All classes at Keiser follow a month-long curriculum that ends in a final exam before students move on to the next class offering. Classes can be taken during the day, night, or via the Internet. The subject matter taught is evaluated and critiqued by statewide employers to help ensure the most up to date information is being taught.
