As early as 1946, Lincoln Technical Institute began educating and training students to enhance their skills and their careers to move forward in the field.

In recent years, we have integrated several of these campuses under the well respected Lincoln Technical Institute banner. Six Cittone Institute campuses in Pennsylvania and New Jersey in July, 2006, joined Lincoln Technical Institute; and during the same year in September, Rhode Island and New England Technical Institute schools in New England, and four Career Education Institutes in Massachusetts, Hamden, Shelton and Cromwell, Connecticut all became known as Lincoln Technical Institute.
