The Multimedia courses are directed toward providing individuals the ability to create interactive media which includes interactive CD-ROM and DVD development, interactive Web page designs for the Internet, linear and non-linear digital and analog video production, and other interactive media as appropriate. Distinctive Features. Multimedia courses are directed to vocational development that will assist individuals wishing to improve their interactive media development skills. Program Description. The program develops competencies in the creation of interactive media that is appropriate for Internet usage, CDROM and DVD production, and video production. This includes an advanced working knowledge of motion graphics development, linear and non-linear editing techniques, multimedia design elements, Internet Web page image and Web page development, and the ability to create 3-dimensional and Interactive Virtual Realities for various media formats. Students must receive a minimum grade of "C" or better in all required core courses and the specifi c courses listed as program electives in order to qualify for the degree or certificate.
