The Multimedia faculty and program co-creators tapped into some of the worlds most highly acclaimed multimedia production studios and software companies as they fine-tuned a curriculum which focuses on three major areas: Digital Imaging, Web Design and Production and Digital Video Arts. Currently under development are the Animation and Writing for Multimedia Programs. At Vista, students learn the fine points of software used in animation, film production and television studios throughout the world. Programs taught include Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, Final Cut Pro, Cinema 4D, Macromedia Flash and Director and Metacreations Painter, to name a few. Artist, animators, designers, producers and executive from Maxon, inc., Mulkey Vision, Pixar Studios, Springer Design, True West Studios, Talman Associates, Charles Schwab, 3D Gear, Tippett Studios, Wolf Hill Studios and San Franciso AMC Siggraph, serve on the programs advisory board. Vistas program is dynamic, industry-centered and economical (only $18.00 per unit): it's one of the best in the Bay Area. Multimedia jobs are increasing every day and Vista College is preparing students. Vista Community College invites anyone to enroll in the Multimedia Program for professional level training.
