Campus Facilities:

Brown College is located in Mendota Heights, Minnesota, with a branch campus in Brooklyn Center is able to offer students the training and skills they need that could lead to successful employment. Both campuses have access to public transportation and are conveniently located close to major highways. Available to students is a large parking area for added convenience.

The campus that occupies and 18-acre site is called the Mendota Heights. The Learning Resource Center, cafeteria, and lounge space are just a few of the centralized student services that Brown College provides. You can access computers, study space, laptop tables and printers at the Library/Learning Resource Center. Access to networking equipment, computer labs and software are available to students in Brown College's technology programs. Students are able to work on multiple projects from both home and school thanks to the college laptop center.

Students enrolled in Brown College's broadcasting programs complete training with the same software and equipment used in the industry today. In Scott Studio, students in the Radio Broadcasting program make use of computerized screens to program operations. Avid software allows for the students of Television Production to experience working with both linear and non-linear editing. Brown College facilities and equipment meet all federal and state regulations, as does it's branch campus.

The method of communication is undergoing a transformation due to Multimedia design professionals. Brown College makes it the responsibility to put you on the path to a stimulating career, by honing your talents and developing your skills. You need to establish yourself in the broadening sphere of multimedia design.

You can prepare for an entry to mid-level position as multimedia design professional through the Bachelor of Science Degree Program in Visual Communications with a Multimedia Emphasis. Talented designers to advertising agencies, corporate art departments, multimedia developers, and other newly emerging employers attract website and CD-ROM design and other exciting projects. This program will build basic skills and provide you a good foundation in design and multimedia technology.

Students in the Bachelor of Science degree program will be able to expand their conceptual abilities and skills through hands-on projects. A person can gain knowledge in implementation of new methods of communication technology, changing ideas into results and in solving complicated multimedia design problems. Graduates have the opportunity to be well rounded and possess the human relations and problem-solving skills sought by today's employers, because of the program's General Education's components.
