Ohio Institute Of Photography And Technology
Ohio Institute of Photography (OIP) began its teaching in 1971 as a training center for highly specialized and innovative photographic techniques. By 1994 a medical assisting program followed. The curricula were further expanded with desktop media and professional imaging technology. A program in Medical Office Management was added in 1995. Educational Medical, Inc. purchased OIP&T in July of 1993. The parent company, EMI, changed its name in September 1998 to Quest Education Corporation. Kaplan, Inc purchased Quest in July 2000.
