Aiming to satisfy shopper's desires for a handbag that is both pretty and edgy, Accessory Exchange announced a new line that should excite shoppers who are tire of the same-old, same-old.
The bags will incorporate chains and studs as well as ruffles and bows which are intended to help them appeal to a wide range of demographics.
Abe Dwek, president of Accessory Exchange said "we have been challenged by many of our key retail partners to inject some excitement back into the handbag department.
He added that "the general consensus was that the handbag department was becoming too predictable."
The company said they believe their designs will appeal to both "rocker girls" as well as "girly girls" by varying the color pallets used, from black and white to muted pastels.
The handbag company says the bags will cost anywhere from $48 to $98, and they soon plan to expand the line to start offering belts and leg wear.
