In partnership with jewelry designer Chan Luu, Banana Republic has created a new line of limited-edition bracelets.
The 17-piece collection will feature Luu's signature wrap style. The bracelets are made of custom-dyed thread or leather in many different colors and are studded with unique stones, gold or sterling silver. A total of four different styles are available, and the bracelets range in price from $95 to $225 each.
Luu, who also has her own jewelry line, is known for her use of hand-cut semi-precious stones, beads and colored freshwater pearls.
Initially, the designs will only be available at the company's San Francisco-based concept store, Edition by Banana Republic, which only sells accessories. The company plans make the line available at select scores in the U.S., Canada and Japan as well as through its website in the coming months.
Simon Kneen, creative director and executive vice president of design for Banana Republic, said that the brand "is a great destination for jewelry so this adds a little something special into our already-exciting fall jewelry collection."
The line will be revealed at the San Francisco store on May 20 in celebration of the location's one-year anniversary.
