MicroFirst has created the animation design and content for the more than 3,000 slot machines at the new Parx Casino in Bensalem, Pennsylvania. The designs, which use iVIEW touch screens, were a joint effort from MicroFirst's in-house creative team and Parx marketing executives. The 260,000-square-foot casino features over 120,000 square-feet of gaming and 176 electronic table games in addition to its slot machines.
MicroFirst's in-house creative team of artists, animators and musicians created all graphics, audio, animation and interactive content. Members of the team drew on their collective professional experience and educational backgrounds, which include graduate degrees in fine arts and music composition.
MicroFirst develops content using the newest animation technologies to create exciting player experiences in addition to increasing patron satisfaction and casino revenue.
Founded in 1985, MicroFirst combines experience in television-broadcast automation, gaming systems and digital signage to produce industry-leading products, services, and content.
Parx Casino, the largest gaming facility in Pennsylvania, is located 20 minutes north of Philadelphia. It is owned and operated by Greenwood Gaming and Entertainment.
