Builders, artists and architects are often recognized for outstanding accomplishments in design. For example, the Northeast Florida Builder Association (NEFBA) recently held its annual Laurel Awards, which honor home builders who have demonstrated excellence in several fields.
This year's winner of the Grand Laurel, which recognizes the top builders in the area, is Lennar Homes.
Lennar Homes also won sales manager of the year, marketing director of the year, best ad and site agent for the year, as well as winning three awards for home models. Winners of the Grand Laurel represent superior business, marketing plan, product design, interior design and market approach.
"Once again, NEFBA put on an extraordinary event. To win eight awards, including the Grand Laurel, is phenomenal and more than we could have dreamed," said Barbara Moore, division president of Lennar Homes.
Moore was honored with the Dick Baker Award, which recognizes leaders in the building industry who continue to support their communities. She has spearheaded many local programs for Lennar's Jacksonville division to help inner-city children.
In addition, Wendy Chandler Designs was honored with three Laurel Awards for her interior designs in Lenner's model homes. Each of these homes showcases modern decor that complements the interior architecture.
