Symposium gathers the worlds best photographers

Aspiring professional photographers may benefit from attending art galleries, museums or photography symposiums in order to network and gain inspiration. For example, photography students may be interested in attending the WildPhotos convention, which will present the world's most famous nature photographers. They will speak and present their latest work at the Royal Geographical Society in London this October.
The keynote speaker will be David Doubilet, who is one of most well-known underwater photographers. Doubilet will present his favorite images from throughout his career. He will also demonstrate how he has promoted awareness of marine life through his two published collections, titled Light in the Sea and Water, Light and Time.
Danny Ellinger, director of the Dutch agency Foto Nature, as well as active conservationist and photographer Mark Carwardine will host a discussion about the digital revolution and the question: Photographic deceit - how far is a step too far?
American photojournalist Mark Leong will divulge some of his techniques, Italian photographer Stefano Unterthiner will explain why he falls in love with his subjects and Danny Ellinger from the Netherlands will explain the importance of originality.
The event will conclude with a presentation from the winners of the 2010 Veolia Environment Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition.
