Adults who wish to launch careers in video game design may benefit from staying current on the release of new games. In order to be aware of trends and up-and-coming themes or styles, web design students may want to test demos of newly released titles.
Activision Publishing recently announced that it will launch sequels to the popular DJ Hero and Guitar Hero games within the next few weeks. However, free demos have been released of both games this week, which are available for download on Xbox Live Marketplace.
Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock will feature an all new, story-driven Quest Mode, which is narrated by KISS frontman Gene Simmons. New songs include Black Sabbath's "Children of the Grave," Foo Fighters' "No Way Back," and Dethlok's "Bloodlines."
New songs on DJ Hero 2 include Pussycat Dolls featuring Busta Rhymes' "Don't Cha" mixed with Pitbull's "I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)," Lady Gaga and Colby O'Donis' "Just Dance" mixed with Deadmau5's "Ghosts N Stuff," and Estelle featuring Kanye West's "American Boy" mixed with Chic's "Good Times."
